Back to School

Back to school means a lot of things: new notebooks, early alarms, the return of suspicious cafeteria pizza… but around here, it also means fresh sketchbooks, funky pens, erasers shaped like food, and that moment when you realize you do need five shades of blue and we’re not here to judge.

Whether you’re heading into kindergarten, college, art school, or just the next chapter of your creative journey, Art Supply Center has your back (and everything that goes in your backpack).

For the Students (Yes, Even the Overachieving Ones)

From starter sketchbooks and charcoal packs to animation paper, bristol board, micron pens, and more—we carry supplies that actually meet your syllabus (without sending you into financial crisis mode). You’ll find the brands your instructors want and alternatives that won’t make your wallet cry.

Oh, and yes—we’ve got used supplies, gently loved and priced to move. Perfect for making your dollar stretch even more, especially if you’re the kind of student who accidentally paints on your ruler. (Same.)

Supplies For Anyone in a Creative Classroom

Need colored pencils that won’t crumble, scissors that don’t suck, and glue that doesn’t make a mess unless you want it to? We’ve got options for classroom artists of all ages, and we actually test this stuff because we’re a little obsessed. (Okay, a lot.)

Parents, teachers, grown-up art kids—come talk to us. We can help you build the right custom kit for your student or classroom oe event with the best dang deals on supplies that will hold up all year (or at least until that group project meltdown in October).

Community Support Is in Our DNA

We don’t just sell supplies—we believe in getting them to where they’re needed most. Every year, ASC supports local classrooms and educators through bulk discounts, curated kits, and our customer donation program. If you’d like to pitch in, it’s easy:

  • Donate at checkout (If you want this allocated to a specific school, let us know)
  • Let us know if your classroom needs support
  • Tell your teacher friends to swing by—seriously, we love them and offer awesome bulk discounts

Because no kid (or teacher!) should have to start the year without the tools to create.

Killer Deals for the Cool Kids (That’s Everyone)

We don’t do “student discounts” here—we do everyone is cool discounts. Our everyday prices beat most student and teacher discounts you’ll find anywhere, and for Back to School, we’ve got even more reasons to swing by.

We’re talking charcoal deals, palette deals, and the most inexpensive soft cover pads in town (look for the purple covers). Bulk-cheap watercolor sets for classes, $1 brushes, $3 brushes, and a rainbow of shapes and sizes in between. Pencils and erasers under $1 (many under 50 cents!), and fun pencil grips for $2–$4.

We’ve got bulk packs on select items (think full class sets of crayons, pastels, or markers), plus paper packs—reams, mixed media 50-packs, watercolor, and printmaking papers. Strathmore sketchbooks are always 30% off retail, brushes are always 40% off retail, and paints are often 20–30% off. 1. Hi, I love your store, but what’s up with the AI-generated images on a couple of the pages here? It seems like a strange choice for a store by and for artists. Why not hire a local artist to make sometthing (or just use more photos of the store)?

    • Hello Heyden! Thanks so much for the store love, we appreciate it! We agree that it is a strange choice (trust us, we went back and forth about it), but we did hire a local artist who specializes in digital art to create them specifically for us. The images we have of our store are out of date and we needed something temporary, as we concentrated on separating our two brands, Art Supply Center and I’ve Been Framed. We’ll update these in the future with new photos or artwork.
